TIRASPOL PENSIONER COMMITS SUICIDE WITH HIS GRENADE

On Tuesday morning, a residential community in Tiraspol heard a terrible explosion sound. As the police established later on, a 69-year-old local resident, who lived alone in his private house, decided to end his life by blasting a grenade. On that morning, a street cleaner was doing his daily routine job, when the pensioner came up to him and asked to better leave the place possibly farther "before it goes off!" A bit later, the explosion followed. Forensic experts are now finding out the reasons of the man's act and the origin of the grenade. According to one of possible versions, the man had kept it at home for several decades - ever since he had served in the army.
