CHILD AGED EIGHT SHOT HIMSELF WITH GUN HE TOOK OUT OF SAFE

A child aged eight shot himself with a gun he took out of a safe. The incident occurred late on Thursday night in Chisinau. The parents were not at home when the boy got the key to the safe and took out a pistol "Baikal 442", which legally belonged to the child's father. Upon returning, the parents found the boy's body and called the police. To establish all the circumstances, a specialized department of the technical-criminal center and forensic medical examination was called to the scene. An investigation is underway.
