MP MARINA TAUBER DETAINED BY POLICE AFTER DE-IMMUNIZATION

MP Marina Tauber, Deputy Chairperson of the Ilan Shor Party, was detained by the police on Monday shortly after the Moldovan Parliament had lifted parliamentary immunity off her. The detention news has already been confirmed by the Ministry of the Interior's General Police Inspectorate.

Marina Tauber was detained by the police in Orhei town, whose residents are renowned for their particular love for Ilan Shor and everything related to him. Marina's supporters tried to prevent the detention, but several police jeeps surrounded the deputy, and she was detained in virtue of the prosecutor's mandate. The detention video appeared in the Internet.

Some media reported also about the detention of MP Regina Apostolova of the Ilan Shor Party, but this information has not been confirmed officially yet.
