UNION FOR SALVATION OF BESSARABIA JOINED ALLIANCE FOR UNIFICATION OF ROMANIANS

The party "Union for the Salvation of Bessarabia" (USB) ceased its independent activity and joined the "Alliance for the Unification of Romanians" (Alianta pentru Unirea Romanilor - AUR). The decision to unite by absorption was made at Saturday's congresses of these Unionist formations.

USB leader Valeriu Munteanu called AUR - "a strong party for the whole Romanian space, from Timisoara to Tiraspol."

According to him, “the unification of Moldova with Romania is a sacred ideal that unites, elevates, gives faith and strength.”

As INFOTAG previously reported, earlier, Munteanu was deputy chairman of the Liberal Party, and from 2015 to 2017 was minister of the environment. In December 2018, he left the Liberal Party, and in 2019, Munteanu announced the creation of the "Union for the Salvation of Bessarabia" party.
