PRESIDENT IGOR DODON HOPES THAT AFTER JULY 15 IT COULD BE POSSIBLE TO CANCEL THE RESTRICTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH CORONAVIRUS

President Igor Dodon expressed the hope on Friday during his weekly live communication with citizens that after July 15, the restrictions, introduced in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, could be lifted.

“We are seeing a reduction in COVID-19 infections. I hope this will allow most restrictions to be lifted after July 15”, Dodon stressed.

According to him, “after July 15, a mandatory 14-day quarantine for Moldovan citizens who return to the country may be lifted”.

““Kindergartens could also return to work”, the President said.

Dodon stated that “the authorities deliberately took certain risks, as the situation obliged us to take measures to save the economy”.

“And now we see that the economy has begun to recover, budget revenues have recovered. This allowed us to take the initiative to increase pensions and salaries for health workers”, the President recalled.
