CHIEF OF MOLDOVA'S PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE ON THE CREATION OF THE “VICTORY” BLOC: «WE WILL NOT ALLOW CRIMINALS TO SEIZE THE COUNTRY!”

The Chief of Moldova's Presidential Cabinet, Adrian Balutsel, expressed outrage at the creation of the pre-election bloc “Victory” led by fugitive oligarch Ilan Shor, who gathered his allies in Moscow. According to INFOTAG, Balutsel wrote about this on social media.

“1500 kilometers away from Moldova, a criminal group has gathered to lead Moldova to 'victory.' And no, we're not talking about the car 'Victory,' (Pobeda) because Moldovans prefer European models like 'Skoda,' 'Mercedes,' and 'Renault.' They didn't speak a word in Romanian, not even in Moldovan, as they call this language. They introduced themselves as servants of the Kremlin regime, bowed down, and declared that at the first opportunity, they would make Moldova bow, that is, at the first 'victory.' Moldovans have shown that they are a wise people and will not allow some criminals to seize our country and put it on the knees,” Balutsel wrote.

Earlier, the press secretary of the ruling party PAS, Adriana Vlas, called the actions of the participants in the Moscow event “a disgrace.”

“It's disgraceful to be in Moscow when the whole world condemns the Kremlin for its barbaric war in Ukraine. Moldova is confidently moving towards EU membership, where peace, prosperity, and fair justice prevail,” Vlas stated.

As previously reported by INFOTAG, the creation of the “Victory” bloc was announced in Moscow on Sunday. About 300 people participated in the event, most of whom flew in from Moldova. The bloc includes the parties “Revival,” “Chance,” “Alternative and Strength for Saving Moldova,” and Victoria, which were already under Ilan Shor's control. Shor was elected chairman of the bloc, and the Executive Secretary of the bloc became the bascan of Gagauzia, Evghenia Gutsul. He stated that the bloc would have a candidate in the presidential elections.
