Mobiasbanca supported the national team of Moldova participation in Special Olympics World Games, 2019

The Special Olympics team has conquered the United Arab Emirates at swimming, football and boccia. CB „Mobiasbanca - Groupe Société Générale” supported Moldova’s Special Olympics team at the Summer World Games, held from March 12-21.

Moldova’s Special Olympics team returned home with remarkable results, bringing four medals, two gold, one silver and one bronze. Our athletes won futsal (indoor football) competitions and boccia, got a silver medal in swimming and a bronze medal in boccia.

They are our champions and those who have proudly raised the flag of the Republic of Moldova in these competitions. Thanks to these performances, the children and all the members of this organization gain self-confidence, get the ambition to continue fighting and to become an example worthy of following.

Special Olympics World Games are held every four years, the 15^th time and are the largest sporting event for people with special needs The current edition includes 7500 athletes from more than 190 countries. Moreover, 20 thousand volunteers contributed to its organization.

Mobiasbanca is the partner of Special Olympics Moldova from 2010, supporting people with intellectual disabilities in sport competitions in the country and abroad.
