MASSIVE CIVIL DEFENSE EXERCISE HELD IN GAGAUZIA

A massive civil defense exercise was conducted in Gagauzia on Friday. According to the legend, an earthquake with epicenter in Carpathians and a magnitude of 7.5 Richter took place in Moldova at 6:00. Civil defense departments worked through the actions on liquidating the consequences of earthquake, which led to numerous collapses of buildings, interruption of energy supply, gas supply, telephone communication and separate seats of fire. Services of Gagauzia Commission for Emergency Situations from all the autonomy localities participated in the exercise.
