MOLDOVAN GASTARBEITERS FINANCE SCHOOL REPAIR IN TARACLIA RAION

More than 100 Moldova citizens, living abroad, together with Moldovan economic agents transferred about 200 thousand lei for the reconstruction of a school in the village of Aliatu - the Taraclia Raion’s only educational institution working in the Romanian language.
According to the pro-Romanian unionist association Unirea – ODIP, which is the initiator of the repair works, during three months six classrooms have been repaired, as well as the classroom for music lessons, two laboratories (physics and biology) and the school library.

In addition, the Moldovan Government has recently decided to allocate about 453 thousand lei for the repair the school corridors and completion of works on the electric power supply.

Infotag’s dossier: In May, the pro-Romanian unionist association Unirea – ODIP paid its first visit to the Aliatu school, and saw the “catastrophic situation”. The activists started the campaign on collecting money for creating better conditions for 70 pupils of the school.
