AMBASSADOR ZHANG YINGHONG CONGRATULATES MOLDOVAN STUDENTS ON THEIR ENROLMENT TO CHINESE UNIVERSITIES

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Mr. Zhang Yinghong, has handed in to 9 Moldovan students official notifications on their enrolment into Chinese universities and on granting Chinese governmental stipends to them.

The Ambassador said at the solemn ceremony on Wednesday that friendship between China and Moldova has a long history, and that cooperation between the two countries has been steadily and continuously developing and deepening over last years.

Zhang Yinghong said the Government of China attaches a considerable importance to the bilateral cooperation with Moldova in the education field. Students from both countries have acquired much knowledge and skills but also have made a unique contribution to consolidation of mutual understanding and friendship between our two peoples.

The diplomat expressed hope that the Moldovan students will be studying well and using the valuable possibilities of receiving education in Chisinau.

“You will have the possibility to get closer to the Chinese culture, to present the Moldovan culture to the Chinese people and to become envoys of friendship between China and Moldova. According to the inter-governmental agreement concluded between our two countries, since 2014 we have been annually exchanging 20 students”, said Ambassador Zhang Yinghong.

The enrolled students expressed readiness to study diligently and improve their command of the Chinese language and professional knowledge, as well as to promote friendship and cooperation between Moldova and China in various fields.
