​ALEXANDRU EPUREANU ENDS FOOTBALL CAREER AS PLAYER

One of the most celebrated Moldovan footballers, Alexandru Epureanu, has finished his career as a player. He played for Moldovan clubs "Zimbru" and "Sheriff", Russian clubs "Moscow", "Dinamo", "Krylya Sovetov", "Anji", Turkish clubs - "Istanbul Basaksehir" and "Umraniyespor". Epureanu became the Moldovan champion three times and the Moldovan Cup winner as many times. He is also the champion of Turkey. The footballer is a recipient of the Order of "Gloria Muncii". Epureanu was recognized five times as the best footballer in Moldova. He is the record holder in the number of matches played for the national team of Moldova, he has 100 of them on his account!
