MOLDOVAN ENTREPRENEURS ENCOURAGED TO USE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE MORE ACTIVELY

10 january, 2017

The Moldovan Center of Special Communications recommends Moldovan entrepreneurs to more actively use electronic signature service thus reducing the using of paper on the enterprise. The implementation of the service is being implemented within the international initiative “Go Paperless”, which allows reducing operational expenditures by 30% according to the experience of developed countries.

According to the Center, the development of digital technologies in the country opens possibilities for reducing the using of paper not only for legal, but also for physical persons. In particular the electronic signature facilitates access to all the state electronic services, such as e-factura, e-achizitii, e-raportare. It allows signing contracts, documents, tax statements and reports in electronic form, as well as inquiring necessary documents distantly. The signature guarantees the authenticity of the document, which can later be used in court.

The Center says that the transition to the electronic signature is not simple, but it is necessary for the domestic business environment. This will raise the efficiency of enterprise work and will reduce the number of mistakes that often lead to additional expenditures.

For getting electronic signature, one has to register on the website www.servicii.cts.md, to fill out an application form, to prepare a set of documents and present a payment bill. The cost of annual subscription is of 350 lei, while its extension for one more year – 200 lei.

As of the beginning of 2017, more than 70 thousand legal and physical persons have electronic signatures. The first step to move to its using was the approving by the Government of an action plan on implementing the initiative “Government without paper” for 2013. Since then, according to the Center, administrative expenditures fell by 13 million lei.
