PREMIER FILIP PLEASED TO NOTE MOLDOVAN ECONOMY GROWTH

Prime Minister Pavel Filip expressed satisfaction with the achieved economic growth in 2Q2018 on his Facebook page on Monday.

"The week starts from good news. The economic growth accounted for 5.2% in the second quarter of 2018, while over half-a-year the GDP accounted for 4.5%. Figures never lie. These demonstrate we are going in right direction", Filip stressed.

He attached a link to his post that leads to the webpage of the Ministry of Finance in social networks. The message placed there says that over the first eight months of 2018, 23 billion lei arrived to the state budget - two billion more than over the equivalent period of 2017.

"This means that we manage to stimulate the business and reduce the shadow economy. Investments in healthcare, education, infrastructure will follow. The investments for people will follow", Filip wrote.
