PROCEDURE OF IT-PARK RESIDENT CONTROL TO BE SIMPLIFIED

The Government approved a draft law that implies the extension of the list of activities that may be implemented within the Informational Technology Parks in Moldova and the simplification of the procedure of annual resident control.

According to the bill, companies engaged in research and development (R&D) activities, education in IT sphere and graphic design may also become residents of IT parks.

The Moldova's first and single IT park was opened on January 1, 2018. As of todasy, it has 299 residents, including 87 companies with foreign capital. The forecasted revenues from resident's sales in 2018 are 1.8 billion lei. The average monthly salary of employees in the "Moldova IT Park" is around 24 thousand lei.

Before, the Parliament has once extended the list of fields of activity, adding the services of e-Learning, research and development in the field of math, physics, nanotechnologies and others.
