​SWEDISH COMPANY PLANS TO INVEST 50 MILLION EUROS IN MOLDOVA

The “Euro Finans” company (Sweden) expressed interest in investing 20 thousand to 50 million euros in Moldova. According to Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Minister Chiril Gaburici met with the company Director General Anders Jarlskog in Chisinau on Tuesday.

According to him, the company leadership already supported this idea, but the Administrative Council still has to approve it. For this, the visit to Chisinau was organized, to see on the spot about the investment climate and republic, its strategic branches, projects, planned for implementation this year. The final decision depends on the results of the visit.

“Sweden is one of our main partners at the European path and is in top five country’s largest donors. We are grateful for the provided support and we invite Euro Finans to invest in strategic branches”, Gaburici said.

Anders Jarlskog expressed hope that the coming of the Euro Finans to Moldova will contribute to economic development of the republic due to unique model and wide range of products.

“We treasure progress, achieved by Moldova in the way of reforming, as well as opportunities proposed to the business sphere along with reduction of bureaucracy”, he said.

The Euro Finans is a financial company, specialized on financing B2B. In Moldova there are 32 enterprises with Swedish investments, whose share in their capital exceeds 74.1 million lei. In terms of investment capital, Sweden is holding the 17th place among Moldova’s largest foreign investors.
