MOLDO-RUSSIAN ECONOMIC FORUM WILL BE HELD ONLINE THURSDAY

The Moldo-Russian Economic Forum will be held on October 1 in the format of a videoconference, reported the National Agency for Investments. The event will be transmitted live on the Agency’s pages in Facebook and YouTube.

The Forum will take place on the eve of the 26th Meeting of the Moldova-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, will address to the countries’ economic operators, and will discuss the results and perspectives of their cooperation.

The Economic Forum’s online sessions will be attended by Inter-Governmental Commission representatives, heads of Russia’s federal structures responsible for interaction with CIS member countries, for the development of exports and external trade, and the representatives of Russian Federation regions interested to develop the Moldova-Russia cooperation.

Infotag's dossier: Russia is Moldova’s second-largest trade partner, after Romania. In the first half of the current year, Moldovan exports to Russia had exceeded US$123.8 million, or 8.2% more than in the equivalent period in the previous year. And imports from Russia marked US$295.4 million (-15.9%).
