DEADLINE FOR FARMERS’ COMPENSATION APPLICATIONS EXPIRED ON MONDAY

Monday was the last day for accepting applications for farmers’ compensations.

According to the press service of the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), it is about compensation for the harvest of the first group of grains.

“In this context, AIPA calls on all agricultural producers, who suffered from drought and hail, to submit documents to the Agency’s territorial divisions at the place of work, within the established period, in order to benefit from the state’s support”, the Agency stressed.

As it has already been reported by Infotag, on October 28, the Moldovan Government approved an additional allocation of 24 million lei to compensate agricultural producers affected by drought and frost. It is expected that about 250 economic agents will receive this money.
