CHISINAU AIRPORT ANNOUNCES NEW TENDER FOR LEASE OF TRADE AREAS

The Chisinau International Airport has announced a new tender for the lease of unused Duty Free retail space. As reported by the Public Property Agency, the contest will be for a three-year lease of assets intended for the Travel Retail & Food and Beverages company.

The assets in questions, currently owned by the State, will be auctioned in accordance with the Regulations on hammer auctions and Dutch auctions.

An information message about the tender will be published in the Official Monitor on March 8.

Applications and documents from applicants will be accepted from March 11 to March 25, their verification and evaluation will take place on March 26-28, and the auction itself will take place on March 29.

As has already been reported by INFOTAG, currently 17 airlines operate charter and scheduled flights to/from the Chisinau Airport to 39 destinations.

In January 2024, the airport announced the first tender for the lease of retail premises. But it was canceled under the pretext that applications were received from only two companies - LeBridge and Lagardere.
