EBRD PROVIDES A NEW LOAN TO MOBIASBANCA

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development allocated to Moldovan daughter of the French financial group Societe Generale - Mobiasbanca an additional loan worth 20 million euros within the EU4Business-EBRD credit line.

According to the commercial ban, the loan worth 10 million euros, allocated by the Mobiasbanca in December 2016 was very demanded. The EBRD funds were used by 12 SMEs.

The Head of the EBRD Moldova Dmitry Gvindadze called on Moldovan companies to apply for financing within the credit line EU4Business-EBRD.

"It was a pleasant surprise for us that the first credit line raised such interest and we call on Moldovan companies to submit applications for financing with grant component we are providing jointly with the European Union. Investments in higher standards and quality improvement will help small and medium enterprises become competitive at the EU market", he said.

Mobiasbanca Management Board CEO Antoin Gabizon stressed that the new loan, allocated by the EBRD is a confirmation of high trust Mobiasbanca is given as an institution which proposes most optimal opportunities for developing entrepreneurship in Moldova.

"The Mobiasbanca team is doing its best to deliver to clients the most profitable financial solutions and professional expert assistance for developing small and medium enterprises, support them in their seeking to come to the European market and in this way to support them in their intention to come to the European market and contribute to the growth of the national economy", the banker said.

According to him, Mobiasbanca proposes to small and medium enterprises from any branch of economy more attractive and long-term financial solutions for business development, as well as investments in new technologies and equipment, which corresponds to the EU standards.

In particular, the Mobiasbanca proposes grants of 10% to 15% of the sum of investment credit. Also, the bank proposes the guaranteed technical and consultation assistance, which is provided for free by one of the Italia's largest consulting companies - D'Appolonia S.p.A. and independent consultation on implementing the project with the function of checking, certifying and attesting the Allplan company.

The maximum sum of credit within the EU4Business-EBRD credit line accounts for 3 million euros for the maximum term of 120 months.
