INFLATION IN MOLDOVA - 0.4% IN FEBRUARY

Prices in Moldova grew on average 0.4% in February against 1.3% in January, while the annual inflation (since February 2017 till February 2018) the inflation accounted for 2.4%.

Specialists of the National Bureau of Statistics say that food products prices grew by 0.8% on average, the non-food products went up in price just 0.1% , while services - 0.2%,.

Infotag's dossier: In 2018, the inflation in Moldova was 0.9%, including 0.6% in February. In April, the NBS corrected the February inflation to 0.2% under the pretext of the National Energy Regulatory Agency's lowering of prices on natural gas for consumption by 20.2%.

For 2019, the NBM forecasts of consumption prices within 4.9%, in 2020 - 5%.
