GOVERNMENT APPROVES DRAFT OF 2021 STATE BUDGET

On Monday evening, the Moldovan Government approved also the draft Law on the 2021 State Budget, with a revenue side being 41.4 billion lei, the expenditure side - 55.3 billion lei, and with a deficit of 13.9 billion lei.

The next year's State Budget presupposes remittances of 1.1 billion lei to the agriculture development fund, 900 million lei - for realization of the Road Rehabilitation Program, and 1.5 billion lei - to the Road Fund.

Transfers to the social insurance budget will constitute 9.7 billion lei, to the compulsory health insurance - 5.8 billion lei, and transfers to local budgets - 13.8 billion lei.

According to the bill, the country's domestic debt will not exceed 36.3 billion lei as on December 31, 2021, and the external debt - 48.5 billion lei.
