CHAIRMAN OF PARLIAMENT IGOR GROSU CALLS ON INVESTORS TO “BOLDLY INVEST IN MOLDOVA'S ECONOMY”

“Investors, cross the Prut!” - with this call to investors, the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu, addressed participants at the Moldovan-Romanian forum Capital Bridges held in Bucharest on Wednesday. As reported by “INFOTAG”, he stated that Romania has historically played an important role in Moldova's European integration process.

“The support provided by Romania to the Republic of Moldova is felt by every one of our citizens. This includes fully renovated kindergartens, water supply systems in Moldovan villages, and reliable provision of energy resources. After 30 years, we can say that we have rid ourselves of Russia's blackmail regarding gas supplies,” stated the official.

He welcomed the words of the President of the National Bank of Moldova, Anca Dragu, who stated that those who do not invest in the Republic of Moldova will regret it in 5-10 years.

The Capital Bridges forum is organized by the Bucharest Stock Exchange in partnership with WOOD & Co, Raiffeisen Bank International, EBA Moldova and AmCham Romania.
