​POLICE FOILED ATTEMPT BY GROUP OF ATTACKERS TO TAKE OVER IT COMPANY IN CHISINAU

Police have foiled an attempt by a group of attackers to take over an IT company in Chisinau. According to the General Inspectorate of Police, eight people fraudulently appropriated the company's seal and documents, after which they tried to withdraw 140 thousand euros from its account. The documents were also falsified, as a result of which one of the gang members became the "administrator" of the company. However, the attempt to withdraw 2.3 million lei from its accounts in a bank in the capital failed. Soon, four of the eight swindlers were detained for 30 days. The 120 thousand euros, which they had previously taken possession of, were seized.
