​RENATO USATII COMING HOME SOON, READY TO HELP TO PRISONERS IN AFGHANISTAN

Renato Usatii, Partidul Nostru [Our Party] leader and the Mayor of Balti city, is planning to return from Moscow next week and stands ready to undertake expenditures for liberation of Moldovan helicopter crew members that were taken prisoner in Afghanistan on November 24, the politician announced in a video address in the social networks on Friday.

Usatii has promised to undertake all expenditures related to ransoming out the helicopter pilots from Afghani Talibs. He conveyed words of encouragement and backing to their families.

Renato Usatii slashed the bill on prohibiting the wearing of paramilitary camouflage-type uniforms by civilians. The bill was approved by the Moldovan Parliament in a first reading on Thursday.

“How can anybody prohibit civilians to wear military-style clothes? I wear such uniforms at my fishing sessions or on leisure. I can’t understand why our deputies, proceeding from their logic, do not prohibit themselves to wear, say, their favorite Brioni suits costing 3 to 10 thousand euros? Let them wear suits made by Ionel factory of Chisinau! By adopting such laws, our parliamentarians simply disgrace the republic before the whole world”, said Renato Usatii.

He strongly criticized the new achievement by the Moldovan Ministry of the Interior – the declared catching of “a band of terrorists” in Balti city.

“What stuff and nonsense! I’ve seen on television that video with the “band”. Those weak guys were under drugs – after smoking or injections. Assault and seizure of what state building, what military bases?! I will not be surprised if Gheorghe Cavcaliuc [a colonel aged 32, Deputy Chief of the MoI General Police Inspectorate] finds a grenade launcher with Santa Klaus before New Year and arrests him. Yes I understand the whole world is combating against terrorism, but what Cavcaliuc does is just a sheer nonsense”, stated Renato Usatii.
