NEW GERMAN AMBASSADOR ARRIVES TO MOLDOVA

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Darii received the newly-appointed Ambassador of Germany to Moldova Julia Monar on the occasion of presenting copies of credentials.

He wished the new ambassador success in fulfilling of her mandate, pointing at Moldova’s striving to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Stakeholders discussed the state of things and perspectives of bilateral relation development, confirming their adherence to deepening of political dialog and economic cooperation.

Lilian Darii thanked for considerable technical assistance, provided by Germany.

The German diplomat assured of German authorities’ desire to provide support to the process of reforms in Moldova.

Julia Monar replaced Ambassador Ulrike Knotz, which had held this post since 2014.
