PSRM CHAIRWOMAN TO DISCUSS EURASIAN INTEGRATION ISSUES IN SAINT PETERSBURG

Questions of Eurasian integration will be the subject matter of the 6th international forum "The Eurasian Economic Perspective" to be held in Saint Petersburg (Russia) on Thursday and to be attended by MP Zinaida Greceanii, Chairperson of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova.

Together with parliamentarians and profiled experts from the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union [of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, EAES] and of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Zinaida Greceanii will discuss the problems of Eurasian integration, and will take floor at the Forum.

Besides this, Zinaida Greceanii will attend the 47th plenary meeting of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly dedicated to the CIS Year of Culture.

The main topic of the meeting will be "The Inter-Culture Dialog of CIS Countries: Current Shape, Perspectives, Legal Provision". The stakeholders will discuss the drafts of model documents prepared by Standing Committees and profiled experts. In particular, the agenda includes bills drafted by the CIS Parliamentary Assembly Standing Committees for culture, information, tourism and sports, for sciences and education, for social policy and human rights, for defense and security issues, for agricultural policy, natural resources and environment protection. The Moldovan Parliament's official delegations do not take part in whatever international events held in Russia.
