EU HIGH REPRESENTATIVE CALLED TO RENDER ASSISTANCE TO EASTERN NEIGHBORHOOD COUNTRIES

The European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell called for assistance to the Eastern Neighborhood countries. He said this following the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union held in Luxembourg on the eve of.

“With regard to the Eastern Partnership (EaP), we have to prepare the new ministerial meeting next month and the Summit in December. There is no need to repeat about the complex geopolitical context: the situation in Ukraine, the protracted conflicts, the ongoing energy crisis in Moldova and the continuous repression in Belarus, which suspended its participation in the Eastern Partnership.
