PARLIAMENT SPEAKER SAYS MPS WILL HOLD EXTRAORDINARY SESSION IN AUGUST

The Moldovan parliament will hold an extraordinary session in August. Speaker Igor Grosu announced this during the program "Territory of Freedom" on Thursday evening.

According to him, the parliament needs to adopt amendments to the budget for the current year, as well as to adopt a number of urgent laws.

"We plan to possibly convene an extraordinary parliamentary session after August 26. Now the government is working on amendments to the law on the state budget. In the near future the government will submit a bill with amendments to the budget. There will also be several other bills, but most importantly, amendments to the law on the budget. Now it is absolutely necessary, before the beginning of the cold season of the year," the chairman of the parliament concluded.
