PRIME MINISTER DORIN RECEAN DISCUSSED ECONOMIC COOPERATION AND ENERGY SECURITY WITH NORWEGIAN FOREIGN MINISTER
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Dorin Recean held a meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, who is on a visit to Chisinau.
"We agreed to develop our economic cooperation and to work closely on Moldova's energy security and the transition to green energy. I am looking forward to the opening of the Norwegian embassy in Moldova," Recean wrote on social media.
Eide also held a meeting with President Maia Sandu.
"It was a pleasure to meet with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide to discuss our strong ties. Norway's solidarity during the recent crises was highly appreciated by Moldovans. I am pleased with the decision to open a diplomatic mission in Chisinau, a sign of our growing partnership," Sandu wrote.
During the day, Eide will also hold a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian. On Friday, Recean is scheduled to meet German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck, who will also arrive in Chisinau.
