​EU WELCOMES MOLDOVA’S STABLE AND CONSISTENT CHOICE IN FAVOR OF EURO-INTEGRATION

The European Union appreciates Moldova’s “stable and consistent choice in favor of European integration”, EU Council President Donald Tusk stated during his meeting with Moldovan Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici in Brussels on Thursday.

Donald Tusk reaffirmed the European Union’s assistance for Moldova on its way to Europe, and said that Moldova is an example of pro-European ambitions in the region.

Chiril Gaburici stated at a joint news conference that his visit to Brussels is very important for the republic in the context of Moldova’s European integration.

“I am honored to head a pro-European government in my country. The European Union is one of Moldova’s important-most trade partners. This partnership works for the sake of my country’s European future and it stimulates us for acceleration of reforms for our citizens to feel the advantages of approximation with the European Union”, said Chiril Gaburici.

He underlined that the monitoring of Moldova by the European Union is as important as is the rendering of assistance to reform implementation.
