​PETRENCO GROUP MEMBERS EVICTED FROM COURTROOM

Police officers turned members of the Petrenco’s group out of the Sectorul Riscani court of Chisinau sitting room. Firstly, defendants demanded that their inquiry about the fact that certain provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code do not correspond to the Constitution to be transmitted to the Constitutional Court. Then they demanded withdrawal of the panel of judges. The judges issued the decision to evict them from the courtroom and to consider the petition in their absence. For taking six defendants from the sitting room, police officers had to apply force. According to lawyer Anna Ursachi, the main freedoms and rights of her clients have been grossly violated, as well as court proceedings.
