PRESIDENT AND FIRST LADY INITIATE FUND-RAISING CAMPAIGN FOR FOUR NEEDY FAMILIES

President of Moldova Igor Dodon and his spouse Galina initiated via the charitable fund "Din Suflet" a campaign on raising funds for buying a house for four families with difficult housing conditions. The head of the state wrote in social networks on Tuesday that it is about families with many children from rural area.

"This is the family of Olesea Gavrilovici from Crocmaz village in Stefan Voda raion. The single mother is raising five children aged 3 to 17, two of them having heart diseases. The family is living in a rented house. Another case is Victoria Bivol from Talmaz of the same raion, who is raising four children alone, while her fifth child is going to be born this month. The owners of the house this family lives in are going to sell it soon. The third family is the Vasilciuc family from Falesti, who live in a 2-room apartment. Meanwhile, the family is made of parents and 7 children. The farther and mother dream to provide a happy childhood to their children in their own house. The fourth family is the Ipati family from Baccealia, Causeni raion, which has 3 children, one of whom has a severe form of disability. Parents would like to buy a house as now they live in a rented house", the President wrote.

He reminded that before, the charitable fund "Din Suflet" under the auspices of the Moldovan First Lady, helped to buy six and repair 36 houses/apartments.

For those, who want to donate to these families, special bank accounts were opened in two country leading banks - Moldova Agroindbank and Victoriabank.
