IGOR DODON TAKES PART IN PRESENTATION OF BOOK ABOUT EX-PRESIDENT PETRU LUCINSCHI

On Friday, Moldovan President Igor Dodon attended in Moscow the presentation of a book about the independent Republic of Moldova's second President headlined "Piotr Kirillovitch Luchinskii - a [CPSU] Politbureau Member and a President", written by Mikhail Lukichev. Dodon paid tribute to the ex-President's "tremendous political experience and professionalism". He named as "symbolic" the fact that the book presentation took place in Moscow, and said: "With an account of our strategic, historic ties with Russia, it is very important that we all were born in the USSR, so we have a common Motherland and a common history. We have real things to remember and be proud of".
