MOLDOVA GOT INTO BOTTOM TEN COUNTRIES WITH WORLD'S WORST ROADS

The World Economic Forum recently published a rating of countries in terms of the quality of their roads.

The list includes 137 countries, while Moldova ranked 128th in it.

Experts assessed the Moldova's road infrastructure at 2.5 of 7 possible points, just as Nigeria and Mozambique. According to the research, only in Ukraine, Paraguay, Yemen, Guinea, Madagascar, Haiti, Congo and Mauritania the roads are worse than in Moldova.

The top 10 countries with the best roads include the UAE, Singapore, Switzerland, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Japan, France, Portugal, Austria and the US. Romania ranks the 68th, Russia - the 114th.
