SERVICE AGENCY WILL PROVIDE CITIZENS WITH PROVISIONAL IDENTITY CARDS

15 february, 2019

All citizens of Moldova eligible to vote, who have no passport or Buletin de Identitate [domestic passport], or whose documents are expired, may receive provisional identity cards for voting at the February 24 parliamentary election, the National Agency for Public Services has announced.

On the Sunday of February 24, Agency offices across the country will be working from 7 am to 9 pm to provide the documents to all the people who need them.

The provisional identity cards will be issued free of charge, and applicants will not have to bring all the law-stipulated necessary documents for this, if their personal data are available in the electronic State Population Register.

As for citizens who applied for a usual Buletin de Identitate before February 21, all of them will receive their ready documents on February 22, irrespective of what date they were scheduled to come to collect their Buletins.
