CHISINAU’S TEMPLE DAY FESTIVITIES WERE SPONSORED BY COMPANY THAT WAS PRIMARIA’S ADVERSARY IN COURT

The company Regata Imobiliare SRL became sponsor of events that were organized by the Chisinau Primaria on the occasion of the capital city’s Temple Day on Monday. The Ziarul de Garda newspaper reminded that recently this company was holding litigations against the Chisinau Primaria.

The company Regata Imobiliare was suing the Primaria for the privatization of land in the Stefan cel Mare Park of Chisinau, where the Gututa cafe is located. In November 2018 the Superior Court of Justice gave to Regata Imobiliare the permit to privatize the land near the cafe to prevent building in this place. They achieved postponement of the date of construction beginning for which the decision of the Chisinau Municipal Council is now necessary.

Chisinau Acting Mayor Adrian Talmaci said that employees of the Primaria, who were responsible for organizing the City Day, knew nothing about the litigations between the Primaria and Regata Imobiliare.

“They were seeking at the event and were glad that this company appeared at the last moment. Nevertheless, the project that concerns the cafe dismantling and the beginning of the new building cannot be started until the municipal council approves the area plan. Representatives of the company does not insist on issuing permit for building”, Talmaci said.
