PAST WEEKEND BRINGS 458 NEW CoV CASES – MoH

Last weekend, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection registered 458 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, so the total CoV incidence figure has grown to 19,382 cases.

Last Saturday, Moldovan laboratories carried out 1743 tests, and on Sunday – 1071, revealing 284 and 174 positive results, respectively.

“Since the pandemic beginning, a total of 118,335 tests were made. Of that total number of 19,382 infected persons, 12,793 patients recovered and 642 died. Presently, there are 5947 active cases of the disease, reported the Ministry.

In the Transnistrian region, local medical authorities have registered 1319 COVID-19 cases, but the regional operative headquarters for COVID-19 prevention has reported only 1302 cases. Of them, 1119 persons recovered and 50 died.
