ON WEDNESDAY, MOLDOVA REGISTERS NEW ANTI-RECORD FOR NUMBER OF CORONAVIRUS INFECTIONS - 786 CASES

A new anti-record for the number of COVID-19 infections was registered in Moldova on Wednesday. This is evidenced by the data presented on Tuesday evening by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

"On Wednesday, 3,500 tests were processed, 786 of them were positive. Thus, the total number of cases of COVID-19 reached 48,232," the ministry says.

There are now 10,917 active cases in RM, including 564 patients in serious condition.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 36,071 people have been cured in RM, and 1,244 have died.
