JAPANESE EMBASSY IN MOLDOVA HAS NEW LOGO

The Embassy of Japan in Moldova has chosen a new logo: two birds performing a love dance on the background of Mount Fuji. Yoichiro Yamada, Japanese Ambassador in Chisinau, said in social networks that the crane on the left and the stork on the right symbolize Japan and Moldova. According to him, the contest of sketches for the logo design was announced in December 2023. After careful consideration of more than 20 proposals received, the sketch of Anastasia Sindjaradze, a student of the State University of Moldova, artist and designer, was chosen.
