PRIME MINISTER DORIN RECEAN: MOLDOVA IS READY TO CONTRIBUTE TO EFFORTS OF EU COUNTRIES TO PROMOTE PEACE AND PROSPERITY

The Prime Minister, Dorin Recean, discussed the role of the civil society in Moldova's European integration with the president of the European Economic and Social Committee, Oliver Ropke.

The government's press service reported that the prime minister said that the achievement of Moldova's strategic goal - accession to the European Union - is a joint task of the authorities, population and civil society. The support and involvement of all these components speeds up Moldova's transformation and its compliance with the European model.

"Moldova is irreversibly on the European path, and cooperation between all members of Moldovan society is essential in this process. The larger EU is the safer and more prosperous EU, and Moldova is ready to contribute to the common efforts of the European countries to promote peace and prosperity," Dorin Recean emphasized.

According to the report, the officials discussed the liberalization of the labor market and the fight against disinformation in the context of the hybrid war waged against Moldova by the Russian Federation.
