​MOBIASBANCA SUPPORTS YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS AS PART OF PNAET FINANCING PROGRAM

Developing your own business is now easier and more accessible together with Mobiasbanca.

Young entrepreneurs from rural areas can now receive loans up to 300 000 MDL, including a grant of up to 40% of the project value, as part of the National Program for the Economic Empowerment of Youth (PNAET), funded by the World Bank’s Rural Investment and Services Project (RISP 1) as well as by theInternational Fund for Agricultural Development(IFAD 1).

The loans are granted for a period of up to 5 years, with a grace period approved by the bank depending on the type of business activity.

Young businesspeople, aged 18-35, who conduct business operations in rural areas, including in Chisinau and Balti suburbs, can now benefit from credits as part of PNAET. The approved business activities are the activities specific to rural areas, including agriculture, production or service providing.

In 2017, it has been estimated that around 170 small businesses managed by young people will be financed via PNAET to acquire production equipment, goods and new machinery needed for production and for provision of services in rural areas.
