MOST TRANSNISTRIANS ARE NOT READY TO ABANDON CONVENTIONAL STORES IN FAVOR OF ON-LINE SHOPS

Most of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic (PMR) citizens (63.5%) are not ready to abandon conventional stores in favor of on-line shops, even if they have everything you need.

This conclusion has been made by the Transnistrian chamber for commerce and industry, which questioned regional electronic commerce market participants.

Assessing the regional electronic commerce market, 72.6% of the respondents expressed an opinion that the market is in the beginning of formation, and 21.9% respondents answered that there is no virtual market in the region.

As for the frequency of on-line purchases: 30.8% of respondents said that they buy on-line only 2-3 times a month, 26.9% - less than once a month, and 23.1% once a month.

The most popular foreign online stores in the regional include: Aliexpress - 45% and rozetka.com.ua - 27%, and local on-line stores - hi-tech.md (29%) and tiraet.com (19%). Half of the respondents prefer to pay for the orders making a simple one-click via a payment system, while 25% - prefer to pay cash on delivery.

Authors of the survey have not published the number of respondents and margins of error.
