OSCE SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE WELCOMES DODON-KRASNOSELSKY MEETING

The Special Representative of Albania’s OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process, Ambassador Thomas Mayr-Harting, has welcomed the Tuesday’s working meeting of Moldova President Igor Dodon and Transnistria leader Vadim Krasnoselsky.

Commenting in Vienna on the meeting results, the diplomat voiced hope that the Condrita meeting would prepare soil for further constructive and efficient dialog between the sides, and would lead to concrete results and to mutually acceptable solutions in the forthcoming months.

Thomas Mayr-Harting expressed confidence that all the efforts that improve the life of the people living on Dniester River banks may count on the full support of the international community, in particular of the international mediators and observers taking part in the 5+2 format negotiations on Transnistrian conflict settlement.

“From its part, the Albanian OSCE Presidency and the OSCE Mission to Moldova headed by Ambassador Claus Neukirch will remain fully committed to the settlement process”, stated Thomas Mayr-Harting.
